Welcome to Swindon College School of Art, Design and Media. Currently there are 35 full and part time tutors in the department who bring an incredible richness of subject knowledge, experience and energy to our area. 

The Swindon College School of Art has a long and illustrious history; established in 1896, it has been providing specialist art and design education ever since. We are proud of our national reputation and continue to offer an exciting and broad range of art, design and media courses. 

We feel it is important that we offer a variety of different level courses to suit all ages and abilities.  We have courses at both Further Education and Higher Education level; these are assigned numbers by the national qualification framework:

• Further Education courses are at Levels 1, 2 and 3:
  National Diplomas, Foundation, Access to Higher Education
  
  
• Higher Education courses are at Levels 4, 5, 6 and 7:
  HNC/HND, BA (Hons) Degree, MA Degree

Having courses at all levels means that students can choose to progress their education at Swindon College School of Art or apply to other courses across the UK.
